A FLC partnership purchased this prime 80-acre parcel in Polk County for development as a gated large-lot custom home neighborhood. Development of the 80 homesites and accompanying infrastructure began in 2004 and was completed in 2005.

FLC also assembled a team of custom homebuilders who, upon completion of development, built model and spec homes. These builders are currently selling homesites for custom homebuilding in Grandefield.

Designed as an upscale family community, Grandefield offers a secluded country-style environment with easy access to major arteries, shopping and business centers. Homes in Grandefield range from 2,400 to more than 4,000 square feet and must meet strict architectural standards designed to maintain the character of the neighborhood.
